Saturday, September 7 - “HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME” at Candlelight Dinner Theatre. Lunch at 12:00 p.m. and show at 1:30 p.m. Cost of meal and show is $54 per person. We car pool from Centerplace (south of Target’s main entrance and east of Red Robin) at 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, September 10 – LUNCH BUNCH at Don Juan’s Mexican Restaurant, 106 2nd Ave., LaSalle at 11:30 a.m. We plan to meet there; call if you need a ride. Reservations required. Lunch on your own.
Thursday, September 12 – COLORADO ROCKIES versus St. Louis Cardinals game at Coors Field at 1:10 p.m.; leaving Greeley at 11:15 a.m. Seats are in the shade; cost is $31 for bus and game.
Thursday, September 12 – BOZ SKAGGS at Union Colony Civic Center at 7:00 p.m. Seats in A section are $53.00 (discounted). During his 5-decade career he has mixed rock, and rhythm and blues.
Saturday, September 14 – POTATO DAY AT CENTENNIAL VILLAGE This is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Greeley Museums from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include a bake sale, a book sale, a beer garden in the Friends Pavilion and, of course, a baked potato with all the fixings. Cost is $7.
Tuesday, September 17 – MONTHLY MEETING AT 1:00 p.m. at the Northern Colorado Veterans Resource Center at 4650 20th Street. Speaker: Amy Dugan of the Greeley Chamber. Light refreshments served.
Thursday, September 19 – MORPH MASTERS – How Disability Made Famous Artists Awesome! At the Union Colony Civic Center at 6:30 p.m. The Phamaly group from Denver explores how disability can empower people of all ages. Cost is $5 each.
Saturday, September 21 – ERMA BOMBECK: AT WIT’S END – Galleria Theatre in the Denver Arts Center Complex. $65 with bus and show ticket. 2:00 p.m. show, leave Greeley at 12:15 p.m.
Tuesday, September 24 – CASINO TRIP TO CENTURY CASINO IN CENTRAL CITY – Leave from Centerplace in Greeley at 8:00 a.m. and return home at 3:00 p.m. $15 per person.
Wednesday, September 25 – GUIDED TOUR OF THE MISSILE SITE AND STORED RECORDS FOR WELD COUNTY. Meet at the site at 9:00 a.m. Address is 10611 Spur 57, off of Business 34. This was an active cold-war Atlas E missile site from 1961-65. The tour includes the missile maintenance room, the command control center and living quarters. The site now serves as storage for all of Weld County’s records.
Friday, September 20 – FALL COLOR TRIP to Fairplay, Colorado. Leave Centerplace at 8:00 a.m. Cost is $49. Tour of historic village included. Lunch plans pending; call Flo for info.
